How much has silver returned in the last year in India?
In US dollar terms silver is +25.7% over the past year. The India rate moved differently because the rupee fell and import duty rose from 6% to 15% in May 2026. Use the "1 year ago" option above for the exact rupee return.
Is silver a good long-term investment?
It can diversify a portfolio, but it is very volatile: it more than doubled between October 2025 and January 2026, then fell by about half. Many planners suggest keeping precious metals to a small share of savings. This is not investment advice.
