Estimates, not exchange prices

India rates on SilverInfo are import-parity benchmarks: the international spot price converted at the day's reference exchange rate, plus import duty and GST. They are not MCX prices and not a jeweller's selling or buying rate. Dealers add their own margins and making charges.

Data can be delayed or wrong

We rely on free public data sources. Quotes can be delayed, sources can fail, and exchange rates are daily reference rates. When a source is unavailable we show the last good value and its time.

Taxes and rules change

Duty, GST, import policy and tax rules are correct to the best of our knowledge on the date shown on each page (currently including the 15% duty from 13 May 2026). Governments can change them without notice.

No investment advice

Silver is volatile: in 2026 it moved more than 25% in a single day. Nothing on SilverInfo is a recommendation to buy or sell. Past prices are no guide to future prices.
